Planning Space Version 20 Overview
Planning Space Version 20.4 is the second major release of Planning Space Version 20.
A new Economics Version 20 Web application
New in this release is the Economics Version 20 Web application, a browser-based application with modernized user interface and enhanced performance.
The initial release does not provide full equivalent functionality to the 'classic' Economics application, therefore the Economics Desktop application is also included in this release, with the same functionality as Economics Version 20.3 (and version 16.5).
The next Planning Space releases appearing in 2024 will have expanded functionality for Economics Version 20 Web, and a new Financials Version 20 Web application.
Dataflow Version 20
Dataflow Version 20 was initially released in version 20.3.
The Dataflow Manage Data workspace has been designed to contain the functionality that is required by typical Dataflow end users; hence the majority of users will be able to use the pure Web interface which is easy to access and does not require any software installation on the user's machine.
The other Dataflow workspaces, which are available in the Desktop client application (Data Tools, Configuration), contain functionality which is required by administrators and specialized users - for example, data and workflow designers or data entry teams. (Web-based workspaces for the Data Tools and Configuration functions will be introduced in future releases of Planning Space Version 20.)
Note: the Dataflow Manage Data workspace is not included in the Desktop Application in release 20.4.

Application workspaces can be accessed using the Planning Space Web or Desktop interfaces as shown in the following table.
